How To Get US Netflix In Canada

Update October 2016: Our previous guide has been updated to better assist you in setting up US Netflix in Canada. Many services have now stopped supporting accessing US Netflix from Canada, but we have found one service that still offers support and works well. We recommend ExpressVPN which is different from previous services.

In a nutshell what you will need

1. VPN Service - We recommend ExpressVPN (30 Day Money Back Guarantee)

A Smart DNS service tricks Netflix servers to think you are in the US. They provide you with “DNS Numbers” to input in your router or device.

2. A Netflix account
If you already have an existing Canadian account you do NOT need to sign up for a new account .

After you have set up your VPN Service with ExpressVPN you can switch between different Netflix regions.

3. Device to Access Netflix (Windows, MAC, Smartphones, Tablets, Gaming Systems(XBox, PS4, AppleTV, Roku, Firestick) )

  1. Netflix in Canada is a new ways for the Canadian markets to get more competitors and it will force the local service supplier to provide the best packages to the people. There are so many good quality service providers like the smartdns that are good in delivering the best services to the people which are using their packages.

  2. Thanks for the article . Just want to inform all folks who live outside US that PS4 is a great media Player. If you want to access Netflix and other streaming stations on your PS4 you can use UnoTelly as I do to get around the geo block.
